#13 Too Narrow Platform

As far as I know, the narrowest train platform of a station is that of Nakatsu Station, Hankyu train.
There is no home only in Takarazuka Line and the Kobe Line at Nakatsu Station.
In addition, only a local train stops.
The photograph is the platform of Takarazuka Line. The largest place is not over 3 meters.
The outside is larger than the inside of the yellow line.

This is the end of that form. There is only one yellow line anymore.

#12 Address of Osaka-jo Castle

Do you know the address of Osaka-jo ? It is "1-1, Osaka-jo, Chuou-ku, Osaka city."
Here is the evidence. The address plate in front of the main tower.

You could see the Kinzo Treasure House, the Important cultural property, behind.
By the way, its zip code is "540-0002."
Where is "540-0001"? It is Shiromi area, the north of the castle.
However if you want to send a letter to Osaka-jo castle, write only "Osaka-jo Castle Main Tower."
A postman will send it properly.

#11 Glico's signboard

Speaking of Dotombori, a signboard of Glico is a very famous landmark.
It is authorized as a scene of Osaka city though it is the signboard of 1 company.

This turns on at night, but, in fact, this does not readily turn on.
I took this photo at about 5:00 in the winter evening, but only Glico is still dark though all the neighboring signboards are turned on.

The purpose of the signboard is to appeal a company and a product.
It is no use if not able to be seen.
Therefore it usually turns on as soon as it becomes dark.
But this signboard is different.
The lighting-up time is fixed.
From 30 minutes later of the sunset to midnight every day.
He is the last runner of the lighting.

It turns on surely 8:00 p.m. in summer, 5:30 p.m. in winter.
Please come after this time.

The background of the runner changes when it turns on.

#10 Benchmark trees

Do you know a benchmark tree ?
It is a tree of the flowering standards in various places, and the Meteorological Agency establishes it.
For example, "the flowering of the cherry tree" is the time when five or six blossoms bloom of the benchmark tree.
If the other cherry tree blooms, it is not recorded with "the flowering".

By the way, there are 12 kinds of benchmark trees of Osaka in Osaka-jo catsle park.
Sakura (cherry tree), ume (Japanese apricot), camellia, hagi (Japanese bush clover), wisteria,  hydrangea, ginkgo and so on.
There are most of the standards of the four seasons of Osaka in this park.

If you want to know the place of the benchmark tree, please ask the guide in the park.
Of course I tell you it, too.

#9 Osaka dialect brick

I found this tile in Dotonbori street, on the side of  "HARIJYU."

osakadialoge.JPG

It is full of Osaka dialects.

From the popular words like "Nandeyanen", "Sukkyanen"
to the shouts like "Eeeeee", "Yosshaaaa",
there are 16 dialects.
There are too many letters to see a picture of the background.

"Don't spend our money on such a worthless thing!"
If Osaka citizen says straightly, look at the left corner.
"This brick is made of sewer grime." in the standard Japanese.

PS: This tile moved to approximately 10 meters east in 2017.
It is in the side of the police box, the south-foot of Ebis Bridge, now.
